Bluestone, native New England quarried stone, New England Brick, New England field stone salvage brick and bluestone combined, pavers (new and salvaged), granite cobble, granite flagging, slate, irregular blue stone, etc. If hitting it with a hammer can give you tendonitus, we've built a patio with it!

Album: Driveways, Big and Small
A variety of driveways by Fat Cod, including impervious pavers, permeable pavers and native Maine stone and a very small drive in Portsmouth made of American granite from upstate New York. We've done drives from as small as 130 square feet up to three thousand including in environmentally (and therefore politically) sensitive areas.

Album: Walkways
Walkways in native stepping stones, brick, pebble and crushed stone, flagging, bluestone, you name it! We've even made 'em out of pallets and plywood!

Album: Informal Hardscape; Patios Retaining Walls and Steps
These projects tend to be small, less formal and more intimate. While still utilizing the best available material and engineered to as high a degree as many whole property projects most of these involved small portions and served very concise goals on behalf of the client. To make them even more appealing, many of these projects were built on a budget by using materials we had amassed over time in the course of being pretty awesome.
